To be honest I probably didn't 'need' a pair of Tullen snips when I sat and watched through the whole YouTube commercial. But I liked the idea of supporting a Kiwi business, and particularly respected the courage it would have taken to buy back an iconic NZ brand from a overseas business who had discontinued the product. But then the snips came in the mail and a wave of nostalgia reminded me how good they were. They're sharp, sturdy and cut through heavy things (like tetra-pak boxes for for milk/cream or plastic packaging) so much more easily than regular scissors. They're also loaded with nostalgia - like that satisfying hiss the blades and spring make as they open and close; take's me back to primary school.

I use these snips all the time. Great quality, super easy to use and clean. Great in so many situations around the house. My latest purchase was prepping for Christmas gift. I love to give useful gifts, these will be perfect.

These updated Tullen Snips are fantastic for all sorts of cutting tasks that scissors cant handle. They work very well for old hands. I am very pleased that I purchased them.

Great for cutting everything, out cutting flax fronds this morning! Nothing stops them!

Bought 3, one for the kitchen, one for the garage and one for the horses. They really are what they promise. Highly recommend.

Bought 2 snips (buying 2 makes it a good deal) and they are great. Really easy to use on almost anything, should have got these instead of wasting time on countless scissors over the years.

Well! As I live in Aus and am now visiting my parents here in NZ I had my srder of Tullens sent to their address. I arrrive and find them already in use in their garage and in the house. So the next order in imminent. Can’t wait to get them home to Aus.

Tulles Snips were a huge part of my childhood, then they just vanished! Now they’re back, BETTER than ever! Better handles, stainless steel, with a wall mount option! EVERY HOME NEEDS ONE… no, wait… SEVERAL!

Love them

This is a spare for me..love them.

I love my new snips they are so handy in the garden, easy to open and nice and bright so I dont lose them when i put them down.

Better than the original, seem to be stronger and better steel than the old ones. Hint, buy more than one!

Had not seen the Tullen Snips for years so I had to have some and they perform just as they used to - always sharp, cut just about anything and are strongly built. I am very glad that I saw the ad

Basic snips that cut through most everything. No longer have your good scissors go missing or blunt

I remember Tullen snips from when I was little. There were always several around in the house. I honestly didn't realise they were still around, but came across the ad online and bought a pair straight away. They become indispensable very quickly - now my son wants some too! Such a great kiwi product.
