I had no qualms about ordering the new Tullen Snips after seeing the ad, and I was not disappointed. Like many things from the past the brand and the product held a place in my heart, and I was sad to see the company stop producing these brilliant cutters. With so many uses, my pair from the 70s was never redundant, but was getting a bit fragile. When I heard they had resurrected Tullen Snips I had to get the upgrade. I am not disappointed. My Tullen snips are all I expected and more. Still with the same feel and look, the old blades have been upgraded to the strongest steel which, with their characteristic crimped strengthening, seem unconquerable. These will last a lifetime with a minimum of maintenance and I'll never lose them. The bright, streamlined holder keeps them safe and ready to hand for any job the kitchen scissors won't handle. A New Zealand institution is back with a vengeance. Now if I could only find a new pair of stubbies... 😂
Just brilliant these snips are so strong and very sharp, I use them all the time in my workshop.
So happy to have a Tullen back in my kitchen drawer. Am planning to get more for garden etc. and next gift giving sessions are sorted!!! Go on, get some!

Bought 3 pairs, different colours, for me and for my son and daughter who live overseas. Strong and sharp...mind your fingers :) Had some Tullens way back. These are an improved version. Very happy with them.
Tullen Snips are something from my past that bring back great memories. Now in the present they are larger,made from stainless steel and sharp as. Love the colours and so did my friend, she loved the pink ones,a new experience for her as she arrived after the 1st incarnation of Tullen Snips but loves the current model.
I remember these from school days and have one pair for kitchen one for garden and just love them.
